About This Stamp
Two years after the China Clipper's first flight, and the stamp issuance that honored it, the trans-pacific airmail service was extended to Hong Kong and China. This carmine 50-cent stamp and a green 20-cent stamp were issued using the same design but minus the “November 1935" inscription.
