About This Stamp
The Postal Service issued a 29-cent self-adhesive Eagle stamp on February 4, 1994, in Sarasota, Florida. The stamp features a blue eagle in flight against a red-and-white background. They were available in sheets of 18 stamps and coils. Coils could be obtained only by mail order and at the first-day site.
Designed by Richard Sheaff of Norwood, Massachusetts, the stamps were produced in the photogravure process by 3M.
