About This Stamp

Four 32-cent Holiday Contemporary stamps were issued on September 30, 1995, in North Pole, New York. Designed by John Grossman and Laura Alders of Richmond Point, California, the stamps feature four different designs from the Victorian and Edwardian eras: Santa going down the chimney, Santa making a sled, a boy and his tree, and a child with a handmade puppet. The stamps were issued in a pane of 50, a booklet of 20, and a peel-and-stick booklet of 20. The stamps in all formats were printed by Avery-Dennison in the gravure process.
