About This Stamp

The Postal Service issued the Flag With Olympic Rings stamp April 21, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia. The design features the American flag flying over the five interlocking Olympic rings. The U.S. Postal Service was an official worldwide sponsor of the 1992 Winter and Summer Olympic Games.

Designed by John Boyd, the stamps were printed in the photogravure process by KCS Industries, Inc., and issued in booklets with 10 stamps.
