About This Stamp
The Thomas Jefferson definitive stamp went on sale April 13, 1993, in Charlottesville, Virginia. The stamp design featured a portrait of the third president of the United States and was part of the continuing Great Americans series.
Desgined by Christopher Calle, the stamp was engraved by Stamp Venturers, Inc., and issued in panes of 100 stamps.
