About This Stamp
This issuance celebrated the 100th anniversary of charitable organization United Way. Designed by Jerry Pinkney of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, the stamp features overlapping profiles of people of various ages and races — reflecting the diversity of those both giving to and receiving help from United Way.
