About This Stamp

The Postal Service issued its 29-cent Flag With Olympic Rings stamp April 21, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia. The design features the American flag flying over the five interlocking Olympic rings in blue, yellow, black, green, and red. The U.S. Postal Service was an official worldwide sponsor of the 1992 Winter and Summer Olympic Games.

Designed by John Boyd, the stamps were printed in the photogravure process by KCS Industries, Inc., and issued in booklets with 10 stamps.
